Part 2 of Hypothyroidism and Paleo

Hypothyrodism

This is part two of the Hypothyroidism and Paleo diet. I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism back in September 2016. For this reason, I have had to change my entire eating style. I am now on a gluten-free, hypothyroidism sensitive, and Paleo diet and I am slowly progressing into a dairy-free diet as well. . . It’s a lot to handle but it must be done to survive.

There are people around me that have hypothyroidism and they don’t take care of themselves and I’ve seen how their health just gets worse and worse. That is so, because your thyroid glans affect your cells, tissue, and organs in your body. It’s critical for you to take this diagnosis serious and make changes immediately per your doctors orders.

Small changes, equal big benefits for my health and family.

My children and husband, deserve a healthy and strong mom/wife. A mom that knows her value. I play an important role in my family and I take that role very seriously because at the end, love wins. Love gives me strength to take it easy and to make healthy eating choices. Therefore, I will do anything to stay healthy. I choose well-being. I reject hypothyroidism!

Affirmations

Besides going grain free (gluten-free) and eating a Paleo hypothyroidism sensitive diet I am also practicing affirmations. The ones I recite the most are, “Today I declare that I love every cell, organ, tissue, muscle, and bone in my body. Today I am overflowing with energy, joy, and peace. My health is stronger and more stable today. I am conquering my illness; I am defeating it steadily each day. I am conquering my resistance and I am successful. I am at peace with all that has happened, is happening, and will happen. I am pain-free and totally in-sync with my body. I now choose to release all hurt and resentment. I forgive myself. I am grateful for my healthy body. There is love all around me. As I forgive myself it becomes easier to forgive others. All is well in my world. ” In Jesus Christ name Amen!

As you may have noticed I say my affirmations in a form of prayer. I firmly believe that nothing can be done on our own. We will not get very far with our own strength. We need higher strength from our father, the King, God.

The changes that I am implementing are not so bad. I am liking the new me and the healthy choices I make. I know that I’m putting my part and at least I can say that I am not going down without a fight. I’ve listed the resources I used down below.

Resources: Cashews milk, Louis Hay,

Please let me know in the comments below what recommendations you make for gluten-free or Paleo eating style. Do you recommend any blogs or recipes that specialize in these topics?

Wishing you the best,
